Mesa 2021-22 School Year

Greetings To All Of Our Mesa Middle School Families!

We have the first few weeks of school under our belts and it has been a phenomenal start to the school year for our students. The students appear happy to be back at school and they are adjusting well to the new school year. The faculty and staff have worked hard to support our students and to make them feel comfortable in their new classes, schedules, and grade levels. In addition, teachers have taken the opportunity to get to know their students through innovative and engaging activities, which helps to set the stage for learning throughout the year.

As I wrote in my start of the year letter, please know that the main goal of every staff member of Mesa Middle School is to ensure that each student is provided the opportunity for a positive, productive, and safe school experience. This is our commitment to you.

Amazing Mesa : Grace Huber

Mesa student Grace Huber worked with her Social Entrepreneurship teachers to run a food drive during the 2020-21 school year. Here she is dropping the food off to a local food bank. Great work on giving back!!!! Also featured in the picture are teachers Mrs. Mary Murphy and Mr. Jason Kasper
In Ms. Brown's language & literature class, students are participating in "Camp Rewind." Camp Rewind was Ms. Brown's great idea for building a sense of community in the classroom while secretly practicing some language arts skills. Today, all students enjoyed creating and sharing a campfire story that came from their collective imaginations. Students took turns adding to a story starter about camping. Of course, the story had to end with marshmallows by the "campfire." A great time and quite a few laughs were had by all! Thank you Ms. Brown for coming up with such a creative way to meet the needs of ALL learners!
