Mrs. Shaw's Weekly News
March 22nd - 26th
This Week
We added more color words to our sight word list- orange, green, purple and worked on letter blends gr and br.
In Math, we completed our unit on measurement. Students learned to compare objects based on capacity, weight, and length. They also learned to measure using non-standard units and were introduced to a ruler.
And of course we had the most fun in Stemscopes with our cars. Students investigated speed and direction and the effect of a ramp. Students were then challenged to 'park' their car in a designated spot. This was more challenging than we thought!
