Growing Up Asian in America Art, Essay & Video Contest
Growing Up Asian in America Art, Essay & Video Contest: Founded by Lance Lew of NBC Bay Area in 1995, the contest encourages young Asian Americans to take pride in their identities and helps others understand the unique experiences of our youth growing up in the Bay Area's diverse communities. GUAA provides a unique platform for young artists to creatively explore and celebrate their backgrounds and remains one of the essential celebrations of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
For students grades K-12. Submission window is from March 1 - March 15, 2022. Grand prize- $1,000; 9 Best in Class Winners- $500 each. Details are linked in the title above.
Livermore Water Conservation Art Contest:
Livermore Water Conservation Art Contest: The City of Livermore is now accepting entries for this annual competition open to all K-12th grade LVJUSD students. The grand prize winner will receive an iPad and contest finalists will have their artwork displayed in downtown Livermore this spring.
Entries must be received by March 14th. More information can be found
