Attendance

Attendance will be taken for our students attending on and off campus. Make sure that you know your log in times for the times of day that your child is not on campus.

Water fountains and water bottles

The water fountains are closed except for the bottle filler portion. Your child is welcome to bring a filled water bottle each day, which can be refilled from the bottle filler.

Lunch and Breakfast

Breakfast and lunch will be available for any student each day. Students will need to sign up for that lunch when they are on campus (we will take care of this for you). Please do not have your child bring their lunch or breakfast to school unless they are on campus all day. Weekend meals are also available. Your child should request a weekend bag on the last day of school for the week.

Mahomet CARES Closet and Mom's Pantry

In order to promote safety for ALL, we will not be accepting used clothing donations for the Mahomet CARES Closet at this time. However, we are currently accepting donations of NEW underwear and socks for boys and girls in assorted sizes. If you are in need of clothing, please email Mrs. Hunter at mhunter@ms.k12.il.us with needed items, sizes and to arrange a time to have items delivered or picked up.

Other Information

  • Parent Drop Off: For the safety of our students, please only drop students off between the 2 posts, not all along the sidewalk. Students will only be able to enter door by the 5th grade hallway. (This is the door closest to State Street.) Please do not drop students off in the parking lot. Unless students are part of our Kids Club program, they should not be dropped off before 8:00 a.m. This is imperative for the safety of all our students.
  • Changes in Routine: Please let the office know at least one hour before your child's dismissal if there is a change in their after school routine.
  • Lost and Found: Did your child lose a coat? How about a lunch box? Make sure they check lost and found first! The lost and found will be emptied on the last day of the trimester, items left will be donated to our Mahomet CARES Closet.
