They had many motives like; enforce women's rights, end trusts & monopolies, and to stop corruption.

Federal Reserve Act (1913): Created 12 district Federal Reserve Banks, each able to loan member banks funds at the prime interest rate, as established by the Federal Reserve Board.
State/Local Government Reform
- State Reform: Privacy at the ballot box ensures that citizens can cast votes without party bosses knowing how they voted.
- Local Reform:
Suffrage.
The woman suffrage movement actually began in 1848, when the first women’s rights convention was held in Seneca Falls, New York. For the next 50 years, woman suffrage supporters worked to educate the public about the validity of woman suffrage. In 1920 the 19th Amendment was passed giving women the right to vote!
Big Business Regulation
Child labor laws were designed to prevent the overworking of children in the newly emerging industries. The goal of these laws was to give working class children the opportunity to go to school and to mature more naturally, thereby liberating the potential of humanity and encouraging the advancement of humanity.
