Good evening,

A Teacher's Tale - Walk-A-Thon has a Huge Impact!
Each year I am grateful for the support that the art program at OLV receives. Funds from the Walk-a-thon help to provide all of the little extras that make our projects so special. In addition, the sixth grade students enjoy a trip to the PSU Palmer museum, getting a chance to experience art first-hand and up close. It is a really fantastic opportunity. The most significant allocation to the art program from Walk-a-thon funds was that of brand new art tables. They are absolutely beautiful and the kids love them! They are wider than the old ones, providing more elbow room to work and they are free from the scratches and holes that was causing students to ruin their drawings. The art room appreciates every penny!
SeƱroa Hopp:
MUCHAS GRACIAS and many thanks to our generous WALK-A-THON donors for the fabulous Spanish Alphabet carpet! We use it every single day: with the younger students as an organized seating area and learning tool for letter/color names and to practice pronunciation, and the older students as a comfortable area to spread out and work hard on various communicative activities! LOVE it!!!
Thank you to all who attended the PTG Meeting on Monday!
Thank you to Amanda Pruss for volunteering to be Secretary; and Samantha Sidwell for taking on Hospitality Chair.
