Falcon Time Reaches Beyond Curriculum
Clinton-Massie High School continues to incorporate character and leadership development efforts through daily opportunities, known as Falcon Time. 2019 topics have included: goal setting, role models, dreams, and reputation/legacy. Also kindness, community, careers, health & wellness, and empathy have all been emphasized.

CMHS Yearbook Receives Award
CMHS Yearbook was awarded the "best layout" award from Lifetouch Publishing. Editor Pearl Spurlock was recognized individually along with the entire club. Great job everyone!
Business Professionals of America Find Early Success
Congratulations to Liza Duncan, Connor Harrison and Sam Binau for their accomplishments at the 2019 Business Professionals of America Region 17 competition. Connor and Sam competed in the Financial Accounting Competition and finished 1st & 2nd respectively out of 48 contestants. Liza was recognized as the Outstanding Chapter Member. Both Connor and Sam will be moving on to the state level competition on March 14 and 15 in Columbus

2019 NHS Induction Ceremony
On Sunday, February 3rd, 45 students were inducted into the National Honor Society. This was a very competitive selection due to the fact that there were over 80 students that were eligible to apply this year, and the 45 students that were inducted are bringing in over 3,500 hours of service. Emily Ireland, the president, began the ceremony and officers Allison Houseman, Hailey Clayborn, Raelynne Mason, and Jennifer Callewaert spoke on the four pillars of the society which are leadership, service, character, and scholarship. Emily return to call each of the inductees with a sponsor to the stage to light a candle. The induction concluded with the new inductees reciting a pledge.
Colton Doyle Wrestles His Way to State Wrestling Tournament
Colton Doyle represents CMHS at the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament at the 195 pound weight class. He is the only sophomore in the state to qualify at that weight in his division. Congratulations Colton!
Connor Hendrickson & Emily Brausch Represent CMHS at Rotary Speech Contest
Connor Hendrickson finished as the top speaker while Emily Brausch finished third at the recent Rotary 4-way test speech contest. Congratulations to both Connor and Emily for an outstanding job at articulating their and representing their school. Great job!
Congratulations CMHS Chamber Singers - OMEA Rated Superior
The CMHS Chamber Singers were recently adjudicated a 1 - Superior during the OMEA Large Group competition held at Eaton High School.
Congratulations to the Winterguard for their 4th place finish and to the Winter Percussion for placing first at The Nutter Center! Great job!
Trey Day @ Clinton-Massie High School
Friday 3/1/19 was designated as "Trey-Day" at CMHS to support recent graduate Trey Uetrecht as he recovers from a recent car accident. The Falcon Family continues to be a strong source of support for all community needs.
ACT Preparations at CMHS
Over 90 Clinton-Massie High School juniors took advantage of a $10 workshop entitled “Attacking the ACT with Bob Brausch.” This full day training on 2/8 provided test taking tips and techniques along with strategies to assist students in maximizing their score and performance.
All juniors will take the ACT on March 12th along with all sophomores taking the ASVAB Test.
