Perkiomen Valley Athletics
Week of August 29
Fall Sports
It was a very exciting week for PV athletics as most of our JV and Varsity teams began regular season play. Girls Tennis had a 2-0 week with victories over Springfield Township and OJR. Girls Soccer also started their season with a victory on the road by defeating Kennett 2-1. Girls' golf has two important PAC victories over Methacton and Boyertown and volleyball swept Pennridge in 3 straight sets to start the season with a win. The football team was impressive as they defeated Penn Wood 66-6. Last but not least is boys' golf who defeated Upper Perk last week highlighted by a hole-in-one for Shea Fusco! Please take the time to check out all of the results highlighted below.
Today all middle school sports will start their practices. Middle School East Volleyball will be starting on Tuesday, September 6. By this time, all middle school athletes should have heard from their coaches about the practice and season details.
I hope to see you at a home event in the very near future.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Felty Jr.
Athletic Director
