Science
As we continue our study of matter students will learn more about how matter changes forms, specifically focusing on how different types of liquids are affected by thermal energy. This week our student scientists also demonstrated their understanding of the properties of matter through a variety of activities. These activities included: creating a cartoon about a super hero with matter like qualities, creating a collage of everyday objects and their states of matter, comparing and contrasting states of matter, and many others. Talk with your child about their learning this week.
Fourth grade students will complete their unit 2 assessment on Wednesday, October 21st. We have discussed that students should use their notebooks as a study guide to help them prepare for the upcoming test.
