Principal's Point
Although National Friendship Week is in August, we will celebrate friendship this week at Timbers! We will also continue our focus on kindness. Please continue sharing all of the acts of kindness our scholars perform here. Our scholars did all of the kind things below last week, and my heart is so full because of it:
- Fourth grader Preston Price helped babysit his niece and nephew.
- First grader Von Heffron is always helping to cook dinner and also helps by feeding his pets everyday.
- Pre-Kindergarten scholar Quincy Lee held the door open at the gym for others to enter.
- Third grader Carleen Hansen always goes the extra mile to be kind in class, whether it be to her teachers or to her peers. She completed notating a peer's booklet when he had to go home early. She even made sure that it got put in his desk folder.
- Pre-Kindergarten scholar Oliver Orellana drew a beautiful black and white drawing for his mom and one for his teacher during writing center time.
