2019 Winter Recital

Show Details, Times & Location

We are so excited for this year's Winter Recital! We have over 100 students performing and you are not going to want to miss these stellar performances!

Recital Dates & Times:

Friday, December 13th - 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Saturday, December 14th - 11 AM to 3 PM

Recital Location:

First Prosper Church

Performance Information:


Show Order is now live on our Recital Home page. You can also click here to go directly to the show order page.


All Performers will need to arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes ahead of their recital performance block. This will give us the opportunity to get your student checked in, show parents how to access the digital program, & escort you to your performance hall. We will be using 2 performance halls at the church this year due to the growing number of performers!


Performance Attire:

All Performers should be dressed nicely. For our male performers, nice pants & button up tops. For our females, modest and age appropriate skirts and dresses. Please feel encouraged to dress up in your holiday wear!

Teacher Spotlight: Mr. Mike Naber

Teacher Spotlight: Mr. Mike Naber

You may have seen this guy running around the studio barefoot - that's our very own Mr. Mike. Mike teaches Clarinet, Flute, Piano & Saxophone at the studio and is known for his quick wit, and fun teaching style! We're so thankful to have him on our team! Mike joined the TA&A Family in July 2018 and we are thrilled to have his expertise on hand! Mike is a UNT graduate with a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in saxophone and a minor in music education. He brings over 20 years of professional music experience as a performer, songwriter, lesson teacher, and music director.

Student of the Month: Allison McGregor

Congrats to our Student of the Month, Allison McGregor! Allison is always ready for class with a smile on her face, her instrument tuned, & lots of at home practice each week! Way to go, Allison!

End of Semester Reminders

End of Year Student Account Balances

Parents, please be sure to log in to your MyMusicStaff Account and zero out your Account Balance with us by January 1st! Any student with an open balance will be placed on HOLD until the balance is cleared out in anticipation of the new semester. Students with a HOLD status will forfeit their lesson time.

Spring Semester Time Slots

Lesson times for the Winter Semester carry over into the Spring Semester unless a time change request has been made. IF you are in need of a different day/time for your student, please be sure to contact the student immediately so we can begin coordinating that for you. Change requests can be sent to scheduling@texasampsandaxes.com.

As a reminder, TA&A closes for all MAJOR PISD Breaks, we do not close for Teacher workdays or Student Holidays.
