Bring Clear 20 0z. Bottle to School on Monday
My homeroom students have really enjoyed our unit on Weather! We have learned about the atmosphere, the stages of the water cycle, how different types of clouds form, weather instruments, and meteorology. On Friday we went on a Google Expedition with our new virtual reality headsets and visited six different climate regions. The kids loved it and can't wait to use them again! Tomorrow we will be creating models of a warm front, so make sure to send in a 20 oz. bottle with your child so they can participate:)
Read Across America Day - Friday, March 2nd
In honor of Read Across America Day we are asking students and teachers to dress up as their favorite book character. I am planning a special costume of my own:) As an extra incentive, I will award a homework pass to any student who chooses to dress up. Students who earn the homework pass will not have any math homework for the following week. I am so excited to see the creative costumes students choose to wear on Friday!
