The Weekly Hoot

May 4-10, 2015

Greetings All -

Well, what a crazy week it has been! With no school on Monday and then the detour to the JH/HS on Tuesday, we have had one of the longest "short" weeks I can remember!

Just a little info:

I am pulling resumes today to set up interviews on Thursday to fill the 3rd grade position that we have. As of right now, Dana and Rebecca will be partners. We will be interviewing for a math/science teacher to partner with Jenny.

We will also be interviewing for an instructional assistant to replace Jamie Mock in the near future.

Please remember that you need to post your SLO results not only in AWARE, but in the Region 18 SLO site as well. If you have any questions about that, Connie is your gal.

Lastly, it is Teacher Appreciation Week. I hope you all know, but in case you don't, all of you mean the absolute world to me. Teaching these days is a down and dirty, gritty, underappreciated profession. It is definitely not for the fainthearted! You all are the best of the best. Time and time again, I have had people let me know how amazed they are at our faculty and staff. Your work ethic and dedication to our students is second to none. I have never been more proud to say how much I love working with a group of dedicated professionals such as yourself. You all amaze me every day and I love you very much! Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Have a great week!

Owl Wings This Week Go To...

All of you!!! For one it is Teacher Appreciation Week and you deserve to wear your "owl wings" with pride. Also, you all moved 400 kiddos to a new school and resumed lessons within 20 minutes on Tuesday! Not a small feat!
