Fourth Grade PACE

Our adventure together this year is taking off. The fourth graders got a chance to test their survival skills and work as a team to come up with a survival plan. Their teamwork skills will come in handy when our Robotics Unit begins. Students also got a chance to think outside of the box and choose one item to be stranded with in the wilderness for our main bulletin board. If you're ever in our hallway, take a peek at what the students said they'd bring along. Finally we got a chance to take on a STEM challenge and create a parachute for good old Jack. His journey down the beanstalk will be a more pleasant trip! With so much hard work and creativity in these back to school activities, I can't wait to see what this year holds for us. Here's to learning lots and having fun along the way!

Computing differences in times, averaging the three drops, and reflecting on our task just shows how much everyone enjoyed this activity! There's more in store this year in PACE!
