Note From Principal Wheeler
Bulldog families,
I wanted to take a moment to update you on some exciting achievements and events happening at our school. I am pleased to inform you that our softball, cross country, and volleyball teams all made it to the state tournament this season. They have shown great dedication and hard work, and we couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments. They have truly had an outstanding season. In addition, our Bulldog Band and Color Guard have received superior ratings at their OSSAA state competition and put on a fantastic performance at the OBA event. Their talent and dedication continue to impress us all. Likewise, our choir delivered a stellar performance that left the audience in awe. If you missed our fall play, Little Women, you definitely missed out on an amazing production. Looking ahead, we are eagerly anticipating the achievements of our winter sports teams. They have been working incredibly hard, and we are excited to see what they will accomplish this season. We are fortunate to have such talented students, coaches, and teachers who contribute to the success of these extracurricular activities.
I would like to request your partnership in supporting our campus focus on maintaining dress code compliance and encouraging students to be punctual to their classes. Your support in reinforcing these expectations will greatly benefit our students' overall learning experience.
Please mark your calendars, as Thanksgiving break will be observed from November 20th to November 24th. It will be a time for our students and staff to rest and rejuvenate before the final stretch of the semester. Thank you again for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we can create a positive and enriching environment for our students to thrive.

Staff Dress Up Fun!
We had a few staff members participate in the Holiday Dress Up fun. We enjoyed seeing staff and students get involved and participate in yesterday's festivities.
Dog Time started on October 30th and we will have our first Saturday session this weekend on November 4th.
What is Dog Time?
- Dog Time is Memorial's tutoring service offered to all students. Students must be assigned Dog Time by their teacher and the teacher will contact families to inform & give more details. Currently we offer Dog Time every 7th hour Monday through Thursdays. This year we will also offer Dog Time a few Saturdays of the year. Saturdays will be from 8am - Noon and students can enter through the Gym Foyer doors then head to the Media Center. The first Saturday Dog Time will be this weekend on November 4th. Again, you will be contacted if your student is assigned DogTime.
The EMHS Key Club is preparing their annual Giving Tree this year. The Giving Tree is our annual event at EMHS where students who have financial need provide Key Club with a wishlist of clothing and necessary items they would like. Key Club puts those items onto ornaments that are then chosen by students who bring gifts. Last year we had record-breaking participation in the program and would like to continue that trend.
This message is for EMHS that would like to request assistance AND families that would like to consider donating.

More Ways to Give!
FCCLA is coordinating with the National Honor Society and Key Club to collect non-perishable food items and stock the shelves for the Project 66 Food Pantry. This food pantry allows patrons to shop like a traditional grocery store but at no cost to them. It is an amazing facility that serves our Edmond community. We are also collecting gently used clothing items to build up Edmond Memorials clothing closet for those students in need. Travel is so much more than just planes and trains! Students will gain new perspectives, develop a sense of independence, and build skills for the future through this experience. We will be visiting international college campuses in London and Dublin. Don’t forget to register for the meeting here: https://bit.ly/46IL27n for more details about the Summer 2025 trip!
