January 2019

Big picture
Happy New Year, Tiger Families! We hope our students and families have enjoyed their winter break... a well-deserved reprieve from homework and daily obligations. But before you know it, the holidays are over and it’s back to the hustle and bustle of school. Take a look at some simple but helpful tips to prepare students for a smooth re-entry and a successful second semester.

TIPS: Students should...

1. Clean out/reorganize their backpacks before returning to school.

2. Attend before/after school tutoring for more academic support.

3. Sign up on the Remind App to get notifications from teachers.

4. Keep track of assignments, tests, projects, etc. through a planner or weekly calendar page, which should be placed in a student’s binder or folder for easy access.
