Reminder: Remember Your Water Bottle!

Please remember to have your student bring in a refillable water bottle during the school day. It is important for our students to stay hydrated and our water fountains are currently disabled due to safety precautions with COVID19. We do have our water bottle fill stations available for use if students need to fill their water bottles during the day. Thank you!

Get a flu shot every year to help prevent seasonal influenza. The flu is a common cause of pneumonia, so preventing the flu is a good way to reduce your risk of pneumonia. In addition, those at risk can get vaccinated against pneumococcal pneumonia. Anyone can get pneumonia. Symptoms of pneumonia include fever, wheezing, cough, chills, rapid breathing, chest pains, loss of appetite and malaise, or a general feeling of weakness or ill health. Contact your Health Care Professional to check if you need the pneumonia vaccine or if you think you have pneumonia.

Purchase a Tile and Support Gananda Dollars for Scholars

Have you ever wondered what those tiled walls at the three schools were all about? Gananda Dollars for Scholars started the walls in 1996 as a way to commemorate loved ones, special events, or advertise a business. Each year, the money raised from the sale of Foundations of the Future commemorative tiles funds scholarships to graduating seniors continuing their education. Visit the Gananda website for more information about the Foundations of the Future Tiles and how you can order one.

Amazon Smile

Order from AmazonSmile! Designate Gananda Dollars for Scholars as your charity of choice at no cost to you. Amazon will donate .5% of your purchase. Over $800 has been raised to date! Sign up today!

Did you know that you can start gathering volunteer hours as soon as you leave 8th grade? Just download a volunteer log from the Gananda Dollars for Scholars webpage, and start recording your high school volunteer experience!
