Alena, your MC VP iGT here. Congrats on making it 5.5 weeks into your terms! Wooo!

I admire your drive. Generation 2016 is so determined to make iGT better than it ever has been before, and that determination cannot be taught. Every conversation I have with y'all, no matter how short, inspires me to be a better leader for you all, for AIESEC US, and for the world. Don't waste this determination, but channel it into action!
The only way we can do more iGT than any other year is if we stop thinking and start working, smartly. All of the contracts that have come in so far have been from either current partners or referrals from partners. It means to some extent, people trust us and want to work with us. Embody that, and let the world know! How many events can you blow people away just by being the youngest people in the room? How many job offers can you get in sales meetings this year because of how impressive and passionate you are?
If you are struggling, which according to our sales activity on Podio we all are already at risk for not achieving our goals this year, know that you are not alone and you have a whole network of support behind you.
But, Alena, what about delivery? Weren't you VP AD? Isn't this the most important? Yes, it is so important. But right now, no LC has enough sales activity happening to take their focus off of delivery. Even LCs with open accounts like Austin, NYC, and Seattle are still striving to sell more. Because right now, delivering more in 2016 means selling more NOW!
RoKS is kicking off this Friday : there's no time to waste! I know you guys want to make the greatest impact before, but the thing that will stop you is excuses from acting. Remember than an active seller is someone who goes on at least 1 meeting a week. How many new members can I meet at RoKS that have already been on a meeting? Imagine how much farther ahead they are than those newbies back in 2013! You generate the meeting and bring them along. It's not doing it for them, it's leading by example!

FEBRUARY : THE RISE
As you can see, our operations are not exactly at where we want them to be. Unless our realization goals are -20, none of us are on track to meet our LC goals. This is a scary decrease in sales activity, but of course, it's not too late. So, it's time to rise to the occasion, and spice things up a bit!
AS A UNITED IGT NATION, CAN WE GO ON 400 MEETINGS IN FEBRUARY? I think absolutely. That means we would have 100 active sellers in our plenary. Wowow!
MARCH : THE MONEY
I'm excited to announce that have a little something cool for the ICXers out there! We want to see you be successful this semester, so as an incentive we've partnered with Thunderbird School of Global Management to give away $1000 to be used to
fly your LC's members to a New York City Sales Summit in on April 8-10th.
More details will be coming on this awesome event, but for now know that it's going to be hosted by the MC and will have alumni and professional trainers present to give you the best sales education possible.
To win the prize, make sure your LC has the highest number of ICX points by March 31st in #TheRiseCampaign. This will coincide with the STA Travel competition for OGX.

But here's the catch, the LC that win the head-to-head conference will absorb the losing LCs onto their team along with their points to go head to head with another LC team. No matter who wins or loses, it's up to you to work together. By the end of March, we will have 2 giant sales teams, and we will see who is supreme ruler of the nation.
