ACOVA and ACTE AZ Partnering for Mid-Winter Conference In-Person
The ACTEAZ and ACOVA Boards invite you to attend the 21st Annual Midwinter Leadership Conference to share the latest and greatest information about Career and Technical Education in Arizona. We are proud of our statewide, decades-long partnership that has successfully hosted this conference for 21 years, and we look forward to seeing everyone in person in 2022.
The Midwinter conference is held during February, which is CTE Month®️, and showcases new, cutting-edge programs with CTE leaders and colleagues. One of the highlights of this conference is the networking of ideas and best practices. You have the unique opportunity to institute new programs in your districts and collaborate with peers from across the state.
Look forward to more than 40 professional development sessions and meeting with CTE program directors, leaders, and other members of the CTE community.
We look forward to connecting in person at the Midwinter Leadership Conference and continuing these great discussions about the future of CTE. See you in February!
The Conference registration cost is $260.00.

- Thursday (Lunch and Dinner)

Data Portal Updates
The CTE Data Portal enrollment module is now open for reporting Fall term enrollment for FY/SY 2021-2022. 2021 Placement surveys are now open. .
As a reminder, all enrollment data must be uploaded into the CTE Data Portal via an Excel template. Please see all upload templates plus upload instructions on the ADE website at www.azed.gov/cte/cte-enrollment.
The following updates have also been released in the CTE Data Portal as of 11/1/2021:
- Change to how EVIT & NAVIT member districts log into the CTE Data Portal – a separate email has been sent to the affected districts.
- Updates to the Records Not Added and Improper Teacher Certification Reports.
- Update to the Enrollment Upload template to remove Minutes per Week and Number of Weeks and to add Student Type indicator.
The following new items have also been added to the CTE Data Portal:
- For CTED Central Campuses: Ability to create and manage a coherent sequence
- For CTED Central Campuses: Ability to report student level enrollment using a special CTED-only template (www.azed.gov/cte/cte-enrollment).
- For CTED Central Campuses: Ability to see member district’s data through Main Menu item and return to CTED data entry screens without logging out of system or using browser back button.

ACTE AZ Awards - Nominations now Open
It is important that we all take a moment to nominate and recognize all of the hardworking teachers, administrators, counselors, business partners and staff that we work with every day for Awards. Nominate someone starting November 1, 2021. Deadline for nominations is March 18, 2022.
This year we have added that you can self-nominate and have added a place for a picture to be added for all nominees.

ACTE AZ Scholarships - Nominations now Open
2022 ACTEAZ Scholarship nominations open November 1, 2021. Please let your CTE students know that they can apply for a scholarship through the ACTEAZ website. Deadline for scholarship applications is March 18, 2022.
