Annual Technology Fee
2023-24: DMS & DHS
2023 - 2024 Student Technology Program
Students in Dedham Middle School and Dedham High School benefit greatly from our 1:1 Chromebook program, which ensures that every student has their own dedicated, school-issued Chromebook for use at school and at home.
This program is not only a successful teaching and learning resource, it is an essential tool for today's teaching and learning environment, providing a consistent, quality and equitable device for all students. Dedicated school technology access also ensure that technology support can be readily provided and that student privacy and security can be maintained.
Technology Support
All DMS and DHS students have been issued Chromebooks along with power adapters. The Chromebook is (or should be) labeled with the student's name, and our IT team tracks assigned serial numbers for each device.
- The Chromebooks remain the property of the Dedham Public Schools and they will be in your son or daughter’s possession at all times (even through the summer) while at DMS and DHS.
- Dedham Public Schools continue to follow the federal requirements for Internet Safety as well as filter Internet access on these devices when at school or at home.
Should your student run into any issues with their DPS Chromebook, please email hometechservice@dedham.k12.ma.us for support and assistance.
