'tis the season!

The fall semester is coming to a close and our holiday concert is looming! It's been a great semester so far and we're looking forward to going out with a bang! Please take the time to read over this flyer as it contains important information regarding attendance, concert attire, and other expectations for your student. And feel free to review any information from our Chorus Handbook.

Happy Holidays!

The concert will be located in the Dacula Theater.

Students must check in before call-time.

  • 6:40 Doors Open
  • 7:00 Concert Begins

Concert Attire

All students must wear the required concert attire listed in the Concert Attire section of the Chorus Handbook. Remember that in addition to your attire, students are also expected to wear closed-toed black shoes (without heels for the ladies, black socks for men). Students who do not have this attire will not be allowed to check-in and, if they are unable to obtain their uniforms, will not be able to perform.

Student Check-in Policy

Timely attendance allows us to use our time efficiently and ensures that our early rehearsal time does not get moved earlier. As such students are expected to arrive on time. For every minute late, one point will be deducted from your final performance grade as per the Chorus Handbook policy. If you find yourself in the position of being unavoidably detained, please submit a Partial Absence Request form using the link below.

Absence Request Form

Every choir member is important, and I strongly encourage every student and parent to do their part in making sure our concerts represent the best Dacula has to offer. However in the event of an unavoidable conflict, please refer to the Performance Absence portion of your choral handbook for an overview of the guidelines for excused and unexcused absences. You can then use the link below to submit an absence request.
