Academy of the Arts at Bransom
August 28-September 1 (Days 6-10)
A Note From Your Principal
As you can image, we are very interested in making sure all students are present and accounted for each and every morning. Classes begin at 7:45 and all students are expected to be in their seats at that time. After 7:45, your child can be counted tardy. Please make sure to plan your drop off your child between 7:15AM and 7:30AM. This will guarantee your child will be ready for a great day of learning. Of course the gym is open with adult supervision beginning at 7:15AM. Some announcements will be made from the gym but pledges and our mission statement will be recited everyday and a Moment of Silence will be honored in each classroom.
Before I close I want to let each of you know that as a campus we will teach many things and perform many performances this year. We have several goals that we will reach throughout the year. But the #1 goal is for every student to reach their highest potential. We are committed to doing everything in our power to see every child read on or above their grade level. This goal may seem lofty for some but with the Academy of the Arts at Bransom community, it can be done. This community includes YOU! I hope that you understand the importance of reading EVERY DAY with your child. Young or old, male or female, on level or not, students will benefit from parents and family getting involved in their academic achievement. When a student reads on level, the achievement level rises in all other areas. Better Reader=Better Scientist, Better Mathematician, Better Debater, Better Problem Solver, Better Thinker.
We are looking forward to a great year and great accomplishments. Stay tuned for more to come.
