Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass - Wed. at 9 am

Wednesday is a big day at Holy Rosary. It is a special feast day. We will be honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe with a series of events, including mass. Here is our schedule:

  • 8:00 - Students are asked to bring a flower to school (if possible). Pre-K and K will put the flowers in buckets that will be placed up in the auditorium. Students in 1st - 8th grade will keep their flower for the procession.
  • 8:45 - Procession for students in grades 1 - 8 begins outside of church. We will process with a banner and flowers. This will include the students, staff, parishioners, Aztec dancers, Fr. Martin and Deacon Jim. Procession will go to the school and wind its way up the stairs to the auditorium (or the new church).
  • 9:00 - Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass will occur in Spanish, hosted by grade 4. Students will bring the flowers forward. All readings and songs will be done in Spanish.
  • 9:50 - Mass ends and Aztec dancers will perform a dance in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
  • 9:55 - After the dance, students and teachers will return to class. Parents/Parishioners will be invited to stay to enjoy Pan Dulce and Atole.

We hope that you can join us.
