Solar Nebular Theory
Maggie Daniels
What is it the Solar Nebular Theory?
An explosion, called the Supernova sent most, if not all, of its star's material out into a gas cloud called the solar nebula.Pressure in the solar nebula, caused regions to collapse. These contaminants are remnants of short-lived radioactive isotopes.
Solar Nebular Theory
The Solar Nebular Theory states that dense clouds, that are not gravitationally stable, will form into smaller clouds causing the formation of stars once the smaller clouds collapse. Sometimes naturally the stars with be a formation of a planet instead of a "normal" star. The protoplanetry disk holds rocky planets. They are "stored" where it is hotter not allowing condensation. Larger bodies are formed with the destruction of the smaller bodies. The next stage is the Oligarch. This is when the larger bodies keep growing. They will form larger bodies until about 100 bodies are formed and that is the last stage of the Oligarch. lastly the Merger phase is when the planets have a nearly stable orbit.
