What's Happening at DATA
It's officially Fall!
This week, our DATA School Counselor, Mrs. Lockamy had a "meet and great" with all of our 9th grade students. She discussed with them a variety of topics ranging from school planning, thinking about post-secondary options, as well as student expectations. Mrs. Lockamy has also finished up the first check-in with seniors making sure they are set up with the information and resources they need to finish out their high school career. If your student has any needs; from emotional/mental help, course guidance, recommendation letters or questions about post secondary options, Mrs. Lockamy is the person to see.
This Saturday, October 1st, applications for the 2024-2025 magnet programs opens! Spread the word to your friends and family about the opportunities available at DATA for students to be prepared for both college and career when they graduate.
Save the date for Directors Donuts on October 25th at 10:00. This is a great informal opportunity for our us to come together as a community to talk about our program and to get feedback from you as a parent.
Have a great week and until next time!
