Davisburg Dateline

Mrs. Kott's Korner
There are no words to express the amount of gratitude I have for all of the holiday gifts and well wishes given to me in December!! From the too generous gifts cards, to the personally selected items, and the hand-made treasures I received, my bucket was overflowing! I truly believe that Davisburg Elementary is one of the happiest places I have ever been! This is due to all of the amazing people that create our educational community. THANK YOU!!!
I hope everyone stayed safe and warm during our Snow/Ice Days! Speaking of staying warm- Just a reminder, it gets pretty chilly on our playground, if students are not dressed appropriately. Please be sure to check the temperature and the wind chill as you determine the winter gear to send with your child. If your financial situation creates a difficulty for your child to have a hat, gloves, jacket, snowpants, and/or boots, please let us know. My commitment to your child’s well-being includes making sure they are prepared to play outside.
If you didn’t know, Parent-Teacher Conferences are quickly approaching. Please be sure to sign up for a time on either January 24, or 26. This is a very important piece of our partnership in your child's education. If you have questions please contact your child's teacher.
I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming PTC Meeting, as well as Conferences! As always, feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns you may have. I value your input and continued partnership in educating your child. Each and every day, I am reminded how lucky I am to be the Principal at Davisburg Elementary!
Truly,
Denise Kott
