We Engage We Educate We Inspire

Hello Stallions!

We had a great first full week at the Ranch! Aside from a few heat advisory days, the week went smoothly and your students are into the routines of school! I am sure they all came home tired last week. There is always some adjustment for everyone at the beginning of the school year.

The PTSO Back to School Bash was a HUGE success. The Mesquite Junior High School Pool was filled with Stallions all evening. I hope everyone had an awesome time. Thank you to PTSO for starting off the school year with a great event!

Grandparents Day this year will on Friday, September 6th. Although it is a month away, I wanted to share with you the date now in case relatives are coming in from out of town. As we did last year, we will celebrate this day with doughnuts in the morning! The campus will be open in the morning, PTSO will serve doughnuts and milk in the cafeteria, and our Bookfair will be in the library. We are still working out the detail and will share them soon! It should be an awesome day at the Ranch for everyone!

Tuesday at lunch the Dance Sequence after school class will be on campus for a demonstration. If your student is interested in taking the after school class you can sign up here:https://www.gilbertschools.net/domain/71

Tuesday evening will be a busy night at the Ranch. We have Curriculum Night for Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade. Curriculum Night for 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, and ALP will be on Thursday the 22nd. This is an opportunity for the teachers to share with you about their classrooms and the curriculum we teach. The presentations are not geared toward students, so it would be best if you did not bring your students with you that evening. The times for each grade level are listed below. We look forward to seeing you!

  • Preschool/Kindergarten 5:00-5:30 PM
  • 1st Grade 5:30-6:00 PM
  • 2nd Grade 6:00-6:30 PM
  • 3rd Grade 6:30-7:00 PM

Tuesday evening at 7:15 PM is our first PTSO meeting of the year in the Library. Come on out to learn all about the great things our PTSO has planned! All are welcome to attend!

Wednesday is an early release day with students heading home at 1:55 PM.

This Friday is a Stallion Style Day! Almost every Friday we will do a Stallion Style Day. We ask our students, faculty, and staff to wear black or gray or teal or their Stallion gear.
