CAN'T HIDE OUR WILDCAT PRIDE!

We want to say thank you to all our families for the support we have had this school year. The 2020-2021 school year has been nothing short of historic and to top it all off we also had a visit from tropical storm Zeta. As electricity went out across our community, we heard stories of how we once again rose to the occasion to support one another. We have the best community, and I am so proud to be a Glanton-Hindsman Wildcat.

This month we will celebrate Veterans Day and Thanksgiving in different ways due to guidance from health professionals. Please look out for the Veterans Day flier coming home Wednesday. We will not be able to have visitors for Thanksgiving lunches this year. Please see the rest of our announcements for the month of November and celebrations from October.

We also kept track of the total number of words our students read in the month of October and rewarded the top class in each grade level with ice cream. Students can contribute to their class word count by reading and passing AR quizzes.

Thanks, Officer Rowan

Georgia’s Pre-K Week is a week-long celebration of early learning that emphasizes the importance of quality education and provides opportunities for leaders to engage with Pre-K classrooms in local communities. We are so thankful Officer Chris Rowan steps up as a leader and into our Pre-K classrooms each year to read to our students.

Thank you !

Thank you to the Brock family and the Douglasville Lowe’s for the donation of water and disinfectants. We are all in this together. #WeAreVR
