Thanks PSO for sponsoring our Anti-Bullying Brain Challenge Game Show
Wow! Another great week of learning has flown by. Yesterday our students enjoyed
the Anti-Bullying Brain Show Assembly sponsored by the PSO. Students (and teachers) participated in events demonstrating good sportsmanship, how to stand up to bullying, and how to treat each other with respect. They also got to show off, some hula hoop skills, math and spelling skills, and some impressive teamwork. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this event!
Next week is Anti-Violence Week. On Tuesday our District Security and Safety Specialist, Jon Miller, will be presenting to our students. Please wear something Purple on Tuesday, 10/17 to show our unity as we stand together against violence.
Special thanks to our school counselor, Mrs. Rachel Guyt, for organizing both of these events, and our Fifth Grade Peer Pals for all their help with these events.
We are looking forward to our upcoming Book Fair Thursday 10/19 and Friday 10/20. Thanks to our PSO for setting up this exciting event and thank you to all the parent volunteers for helping with the sales. We really appreciate it. I can wait to buy some books and to hear about what the children are reading.
