November 2020

Dear Families,

Here we are in November and it is clear that the staff at DSFC is working hard to provide a dynamic and positive environment for learning. The teaching and support staff are working hard to provide students with a quality educational program each day. Even when teachers are not live on the screen, they are engaging in collaborative work to ensure all students are getting what they need.

November is a perfect time of year to reflect and to practice gratitude. A simple note of appreciation to someone can change their day. Positive connections between home and school foster mutual respect, which in turn creates a stronger learning environment for all.

Thank you parents and caregivers, I appreciate your partnership as we work as a team to create the best learning experience for your child. Your work in providing a caring environment at home that nurtures and respects education provides a solid platform for teachers to build on. Our work together creates a team of support for your child that allows great learning to happen academically, socially and emotionally. Again, thank you for your hard work and your ongoing support of our hard work.

As always, please reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

With gratitude,

Caissie Putnam
