We hosted Class of 2025 Bump-Up Day last Friday for our incoming freshmen and had a great day! Over 135 eight graders attended and over 40 student-leaders led the 10 interactive stations that were set up around campus!
Here we are, the final Monday of the school year and graduation week! It certainly has been a year of highs and lows, but in the end we are all stronger and better than ever! Thank you for keeping your head up and moving forward no matter the challenge.
Underclassmen, let's get after it these final few days. This is your last full week and next week you only have two and a half days. We have 5th Block going on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week 3:30-5:00 pm. In-person students will turn in their Chromebooks on Thursday, May 27th in the cafeteria during their lunch time or at the end of 4th block. All students will turn them in by Tuesday, June 1st during school hours in the HHS Library to Mrs. Gnegy. Please make sure you have your case and charger with your Chromebook. If you need them for Summer School please contact Mrs. Gnegy to set this up.
Seniors, make sure you go to the link that Mrs. Grapes sent you via Schoology to complete your ticket list for graduation (please provide first and last name of each guest). Remember, you now have 8 tickets instead of 4, but no more. We need you to submit your last by this Thursday. Graduation Practice is this Friday, be here ready to go no later than 9:00 am! Bring your Chromebook, case, and charger to practice if you have not already turned them in to Mrs. Gnegy.
Remember, next Monday, May 31st is a school holiday (no school for staff or students). Last day for students is Thursday, June 3rd (early dismissal day) and last day for staff is Friday, June 4th. If you need to attend Summer School you need to contact Mrs. Amanda Bradfield or your school counselor as soon as possible.

Virtual/Absent Student Scheduling
Hampshire High School will be having a parent scheduling night for ALL virtual students in grades 8th -11th. This is a chance for students who are virtual and 8th graders who were absent on the days we were at your school, to come and get the required paperwork in order to complete a schedule request for the 2021-2022 school year. There is a lot of information, read all the way to the end.
Who should attend: Students and Legal Guardians. If both the student and guardian are present, you can fill out the request sheet that day, turn it in, and be finished.
What if Guardians can’t attend? That isn’t a problem, we will send the paperwork home and it can be returned to any of the three schools (Hampshire High, Capon Bridge Middle, & Romney Middle)
When: Tuesday May 25, 2021
Where: Hampshire High School Auditorium
What Time: 8th Graders Only – 6:00PM – 7:00PM
9th – 11th Graders – 7:00PM – 8:00PM
What happens if you can’t attend at the assigned time? You are welcome to come at any point in this evening, however there will be a presentation specific to your student at the assigned time.
What happens if you can’t attend at all? If you cannot attend, you need to contact your HIGH SCHOOL counselor starting May 7th and set up an appointment to complete your request. (Last Name A-K, Mr. Nichols/Last Name L-Z Mrs. Anderson)
What if I am an 8th Grader who was absent on the day scheduling requests were handed out? You should attend this night to get the information you need to start high school off on a strong note.
What if I am a high schooler who missed the scheduling day? You will NOT attend, you will schedule a meeting with your counselor and they will work with you to get caught up.
What is going to happen this evening? We are going to hand out the required paperwork for completing a schedule request. There will be a presentation about the class options as well as a question and answer session following.
Will there be a high school tour? No, that is for bump up day which is scheduled for May 21st, please sign up for that if you want to see the high school.
Will there be CTE/Elective teachers present that evening? No, that is for bump up day which is scheduled for May 21st, please sign up for that if you want to see the CTE and Elective courses offered at HHS.
Will there be clubs and student organizations present that evening? No, that is for bump up day which is scheduled for May 21st, please sign up for that if you want to see the opportunities to be involved during your time at HHS.
Why is it important to attend? The master schedule is based off of student request sheets. There is no guarantee you will be able to have the schedule you want; however, it is much more likely if you have a completed request sheet turned in on time.
What happens if you don’t attend? You should contact your HIGH SCHOOL counselor starting May 7th and set up an appointment to complete your request. (Last Name A-K, Mr. Nichols/Last Name L-Z Mrs. Anderson)
What if you filled out your request and you want to make changes? You can contact your HIGH SCHOOL counselor and they can assist you.
