Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing summer with your children. We are excited to announce Bellmawr School District will be returning to full in-person learning, five days a week. We can’t wait to welcome our new students as well as our returning students. Our teachers are preparing their classrooms and anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new cohort of students.

As you may know, The Department of Education issued a comprehensive guidance document for school districts to follow, The Road Forward Health and Safety Guidance for the 2021-2022 School Year. Recommendations and guidance address five key areas for school districts to follow which are listed below.

· General Health and Safety Guidelines

· Cleaning, Disinfection, and Airflow

· Screening, Exclusion, and Response to

· Symptomatic Students and Staff

· Contact Tracing/Testing

Although we are opening, provisions remain in place so that we may maintain the integrity of our instructional programs while being mindful of the health and safety of our students and staff.

Please review the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction Plan along with the power point that will be shared with our learning community at our next Board of Education Meeting on August 31, 2021. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me. Additional adjustments may be made after staff and community comment. Your feedback is critical to ensure high quality learning experience for our students. Thank you again for all your support.

I wish you continued health, safety and well-being for you and your family.

Yours truly,

Danielle Sochor,

Superintendent of Schools
