Marijuana Legalization

Christopher Jimenez

Should marijuana be legalized?

Marijuana acts as a gateway drug that eventually leads users to dependence on more addictive drugs.

Health

Marijuana could actually worsen the vision loss caused by glaucoma. "Although marijuana does lower the eye pressure, it also lowers blood pressure," (Henry D. Jampel)

Effects

  • hallucinations
  • delusions
  • psychotic disorders

Our society is at risk

With the argument of whether or not Marijuana should be legalized or not, there will always be a way people still smoke it and use it.

Usually, Marijuana is used to treat patients that have seizures or a very big case of depression which used as the less addictive anti-depressant.

Marijuana is being used completely wrong by having its users smoking it and have solutions which can affect the brain very badly and have long term effects on it.
