Season 2 Athletics Start Soon: Boys Volleyball and Girls Basketball

Students can get ready for the next season of Magee athletics. Our boys volleyball and girls basketball teams will start practices on the week of October 24th. As a reminder, all students will have to have a completed physical clearance form on file in the office to participate. Forms can be found on the Magee website at

Magee Fall Formal Dance

Friday, Oct. 28th, 3pm

8300 East Speedway Boulevard

Tucson, AZ

Magee will hold it's first school dance in several years on Friday, October 28th immediately after school. Tickets are $3 and will be sold at the door. Students cannot have any suspensions in order to attend. The dance is sponsored by the Student Council. The theme is "Fall Formal," though any attire is allowed to attend.

New and Updated Mission and Vision Statements

Thank you to the Magee parents who took part in our surveys for our updated Mission and Vision statements. The choices were prepared by the various members of the school leadership team.

Mission: The Magee experience will engage our students socially, emotionally, and academically with experiences that embrace diversity and prepare our students for the 21st Century.

Vision: As a community, Magee will promote responsibility, and integrity through realizing potential, recognizing, and fostering success for each student as they continue developing into confident members of society.

Magee PRIDE Points

Magee uses a schoolwide Positive Behavior Incentive System (PBIS) that focuses on positive student behavior. Students who demonstrate good behavior are rewarded with Magee Bucks that can be spent at the Magee store for various items. The Magee store is open Tuesday and Thursdays during lunch.






Panorama Survey

Students who have signed up for the Panorama Survey will take the survey during the month of October. The survey only takes about 20 minutes to complete. The results of the survey will help school leadership take a "pulse" of the student body.

Moment of Silence

Magee has started a daily "moment of silence" during the morning announcements. Students may use this moment for mindfulness, reflection, etc. Please talk with your student how you would like them to use their moment of silence.
