Absenteeism and Tardiness
Unexcused scholar absences and tardies negatively impact the overall score GIA receives from the state.
If your scholar has an excused absence, please provide a written/typed explanation for your scholar's absence to Ms. Ebonie Fagin in the main office. You may also email a copy of the letter to your scholar's homeroom teacher. Please do not give the note directly to your scholar to turn in.

April Scholars of the Month
A breakfast will be held in their honor on Thursday, April 25th at 9:00 am in the GIA cafeteria.

Turn Box Tops Into Cash for GIA
GIA collects Box Tops all year long! Turn them in to your homeroom teacher in a Ziploc bag/envelope marked with your scholar's name and the name of their homeroom teacher on the bag.
*Box Tops do expire. Please be sure to check the expiration date on the Box Tops.
