First we did intermediate we had to get a few done for the first quarter to get a three. But the further you go the harder they get. It gives you a lesson words per minute and lesson accuracy. For the second quarter you needed to do 4 more lessons than we had done.
Haiku Desk is an application where you create slides. We made slides about our dream job and what we need to do to get to that career. We presented our slides to the class. We were graded on our ability to present and our slides. It teaches us how to make and present slides.
ITrailer was a trailer we made in imovie. We didn't have to present but we could if we wanted to. We submitted it to schoology and she graded them. This unit taught us how to build suspense and put information in a video.
Career Locker helped us plan for our future. It let us research collage and our jobs after collage. Our guidance counselor came and taught this unit. She helped us come up with our plan. We did this unit in 5th and 6th grade.
For our coding unit we used a website called code.org. We got the whole class period for a period of about 2 weeks or 5 classes. We had to complete a certain amount of lessons to get a 3 or a 4. We also got some time here and there through out the quarter.
Explain everything is an app that allows you to draw, type, insert photos/videos, and record your voice. In our explain everything we had to solve a math problem that we got to choose then record our voices explaining how we completed it. We needed to have a title slide and then how ever slides we needed to complete it. We had to type everything instead of drawing or handwriting it out.
