Workshop Description
Join Amy Schultz and LaRaesha Kugel as they unlock new levels which reveal the recently adopted ELA Standards and how you can begin to implement in the classroom. This session will provide participants with the power-ups necessary to achieve clarity on the instructional shifts, explore the ELA standards, and navigate through a new level of understanding.
Learning Outcomes
Tools, resources, and professional learning templates to ensure that educators can:
- Articulate a statewide vision of excellent ELA/literacy instruction for all Nebraska students.
- Describe the major standards revisions and how they contribute to the instructional vision
- Prepare resources for implementation of the standards and instructional vision.

ESU 9 IIA Consortium Member Districts: $20.00
ESU 9 Non-IIA Districts: $45.00
Outside of ESU 9 area: $100.00
Registration fee includes materials, breakfast, and lunch.
Additional Information: 1 credit is available through Hastings College for $225 IF you attend both June 13 (The Joy of Reading) and June 14.
$125 stipend is available for teachers from Title II-A Consortium Member Schools: Adams Central, Blue Hill, Doniphan-Trumbull, Giltner, Kenesaw, Red Cloud, Silver Lake, and Sutton.
*Stipend not available if taking this for college credit
