Read Across America Week
February 28-March 4, 2022
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place the week of February 28th-March 4th with a Digital Day on Wednesday and Early Release at 12:50PM on Thursday.
Conferences will be held over Zoom. Be on the lookout for an email/letter from your child's teacher that contains the class code. Parents will sign up using the class code provided by the teacher at https://www.ptcfast.com/parent_registration1.php. Parents may request an in-person conference but must notify the teacher by email if they prefer to attend in person. For help signing up for a conference, please see the document attached below.
Teachers will send conference Zoom links by email on February 25th.
Dual Language Immersion Meeting
Parsons Korean DLI (Dual Language Immersion) Program
Rising Kindergarten Parent Meeting
March 10th @ 6:00PM
If you are interested in enrolling your child for the 2022-2023 school year, please join us to learn more about the Dual Language Immersion Program at Parsons. During the meeting, we’ll provide a brief overview of the program and its goals, describe the registration process, and answer any questions you might have. The meeting will be in person and a translator will assist.
Birthday Celebration Policy
Just a reminder of our birthday celebration policy. This can be found in our Student/Parent Handbook as well.
Birthday Celebrations
Because of allergies, students wishing to have a treat for their class should use the Ice Cream plan. This plan provides ice cream for every student in the class for $1 per student. Birthday parties are not allowed at school. Balloons, flowers, etc. cannot be delivered to children at school or taken home on the bus. Party invitations may not be distributed at school.
If you will ask the teacher how many students are in the classroom, you can send in money and let the teacher know which day that week you would like to purchase ice cream for the entire class in honor of your student's birthday. The students all get to choose which ice cream they would like and they receive it at lunch that day. Thank you for your understanding.
