CSFFA travels to Corpus Christi
Eighteen students attended the Texas FFA convention in July. What a week! Colton Eskew, Kayla Seale and Kyla Seale competed in the agriscience fair. Taitelyn Morris worked as a member of the convention media staff, producing news and videos that aired nationally on RFD-TV. We had a team compete in the first ever Principles of Ag Quiz Bowl. These freshmen were Jonathan Crawford, Courtney Hampton, Sierra Loyd and Betnie Mitchell.
Our chapter added six new names to the Lone Star degree recipients: Meagan Davis, Brandon Johnson, Taitelyn Morris, Miranda Overcast, Kayla Seale and Kyla Seale. Mrs. Ashley Bradshaw, Mr. Matt Bruce, Mr. Johnnie Day and Mr. Steve Seale were awarded their honorary Lone Star degrees. While staying in Corpus Christi, members also witnessed a sea turtle release, kayaked in the Gulf of Mexico and toured the U.S.S. Lexington.
