Show YouTube Videos Without Related Content

Thanks to Richard Byrne of Free Technology for Teachers for sharing this trick.

Anyone who has ever opened YouTube in front of a classroom knows the feeling of dread that comes with hoping that the "related" content in the sidebar really is related content. Add Pie Chart Leader Lines in Numbers

I will admit it, I am not a spreadsheet person. But this is a very cool feature of Apple's Numbers. Numbers is Apple's version of Excel and by the way, Numbers will open any excel document you have already create and Numbers comes on all Macs and iPads. So there is no reason not to give it a try.

A new feature in Numbers is the ability to add leader lines to pie charts. This makes the charts look more professional and easier to follow. This also works with pie charts in Keynote and Pages.

Need college credit to renew your Teaching Certificate and also earn a certificate to teach online

As today's K-12 schools have become more receptive to online interactive learning, virtual schools represent a significant paradigm shift in delivering and acquiring knowledge. This certificate prepares participants to ride the crest of this new wave in K-12 education. It is expected that the Kansas Department of Education (KSDE) will declare online teaching to be a dedicated area of licensure in the near future, and I am sure other states are in the process as well, the K-State College of Education is at the vanguard of this new era.

The attached flyer explains the program. The K12 online teaching certificate could be very beneficial earning additional income teaching online. First class in the series begins in May!
