Face Mask Protocol Changing
Parents and guardians—at their sole discretion—can opt their children out of the face covering requirement without any documentation. They only need to complete the online opt-out form in FOCUS, the district’s online student information system. If students DO NOT wear a mask and they DO NOT have an op-out-form in FOCUS, they will receive 2.01 Failure to Adhere to Safety Considerations.
For more information click here.
Dress Code Reminders
Also, students are allowed to wear sweatshirts and jackets with hoodies, but the hoodie is NOT allowed to be worn over their head due to safety concerns and DCPS Dress Code Policy. Please check your child's attire before they leave school.
