What is it like in the tundra?
The precipitation is less than 10in a year annually in the Tundra. Along with that the temperature is -70 degrees fahrenheit. The soil is very poor due to permafrost. Some animals in the Tundra are caribou ,polar bears, and snow geese. Due to its extreme temperatures and climate, the tundra is well known for being the coldest biome on earth.
How do Humans Help and Harm the Tundra?
Humans use cars, factories that let out gas, and etc. Each of those things use fossil fuels which pollute the environment. Another way that humans harm the tundra is causing global warming. The pollution travels towards the tundra and being pushed by the wind and other natural forces. As a result of global warming the tundra's glaciers melt and the Animal life is in danger. On the other hand Humans do their part to help the tundra. People reserve certain areas to protect them. Also people pick up trash and garbage off the ground, that tourists and visitors to the tundra left.
