Read-a-thon Begins Friday February 14th -March 5th
This fundraiser is sponsored by our classroom teachers for classroom and technology funds. These funds are used to purchase supplies for special projects, field trips, technology, and other engaging materials and experiences for all of our students.
What to expect:
Each Friday students will be given a weekly reading slip to bring back on Monday.Information will come home this week to give your access to our online fundraising platform, 99Pledges. This will allow you the opportunity to raise funds for your reader online!
Prizes for funds raised and minutes read:
Each week the K-2 & 3-5 class with the most minutes read will earn an extra recess.
Each week the K-2 & 3-5 class with the most funds raised will earn an extra PE with Mr. Z on Wednesday.
Our Read-a-thon will run until March 5th. If our students read at least 20,000 minutes by March 5th we will celebrate with a school-wide dress up like your favorite character day!
And...
The K-2 & 3-5 class that reads the most minutes & earn the most money will earn a pizza party!
The individual K-2 & 3-5 student that reads the most minutes & earns the most money will get $20 for scholastic!

We recycle plastic at JME
Yahoo! With a total of 304 lbs., January's plastic donations exceeded our goal by 108 lbs., so we have now collected a total of 2,128 lbs.! Thank you for continuing to keep plastic out of the landfill! Big goal this month - 372 lbs. so we can reach 2,500 lbs. by the end of February. Keep up the good work!
Thank you to these local businesses and service organizations that continually donate plastic to us for the TREX Challenge: Healthy Pet, West Linn,
1st Presbyterian Church HOPE program, and OC's "Yoga for Life" class.
