Is There Life Out There?

We think there is life out there and we are going to give you a few Earth like planets, and why they may be able to have other life living on them

Kepler 186f

The first Earth-sized exoplanet ever found. This lays about 490 light years away and is 10 percent bigger than our Earth. The mass, composition are still remaining unknown. The planet is the “record holder” for the most “earth like” planet out there. The planet orbits a star every 130 days. The host-star is about half the mass and size of the sun. The temperature supported by the host-star is a good temperature for liquid water to exist on the surface. much closer to its sun than we are to ours. Even so, it receives less energy from its sun than Mars does in our solar system.

Gliese 581g

This planet was found in 2010, but there has been difficulty in getting it confirmed. This is a top candidate for alien life. The surface is mostly rocky, and is about 20 light years away from Earth's sun. This planet was found orbiting a near star at distance that would be comfortable enough for life to exist.

Kepler 22b

This planet may be bigger than Earth, but the star it orbits is quite close to temperature and size to our sun. It also has a greenhouse affect just like Earth. Also, the estimated surface temperature is 72 degrees Fahrenheit. This also has the right atmosphere that could possibly support life. However, on the other hand it is a estimated 600 light years away from our Earth.

HD 40307g

This stands about 42 light years from earth. This also orbits 90 million kilometers away from its host-star, but right in its habitable zone. This makes it possible for liquid water to exist on this planet. This planet is also only 42 light years away from Earth. "The longer orbit of the new planet means that its climate and atmosphere may be just right to support life," study co-author Hugh Jones, of the University of Hertfordshire in England, said in a statement. "Just as Goldilocks liked her porridge to be neither too hot nor too cold but just right, this planet or indeed any moons that it has lie in an orbit comparable to Earth, increasing the probability of it being habitable."

Tau Ceti e

This was only found an outstanding 11.9 light years away from our Earth. This planet was spotted in December 2012. It is also 4.3 times more giant than Earth. It lies in the "habitable zone" — that just-right range of distances that could support the existence of liquid water on the planets' surfaces. It also has a very strong greenhouse affect just like Earth.

Is There Really Life Out There

We think there is and even though all the facts and proof may not be here today, there are also many other factors to support the fact that there is in conclusion, other life in outer space, like how many planets are alike to Earth and it is almost impossible to imagine that we are the only living things in space.
