Mrs. Healey's Third Grade Class
April 29, 2016
As the year comes to a close, I am going to keep our daily schedule as close to normal as possible. Children do best when they follow a routine. Please continue to support your child by signing the agenda nightly, assisting with homework, and signing the reading logs. Typing logs are finished for the year, but reading logs will be continued until the final Monday (May 23rd). Thanks for your support!
We are counting down the last days of school with an ABC countdown. Every day we will have an activity.
Here are the activities for next week:
May 2 - I – Ice pop day
May 3 - J – Joke day – bring an appropriate joke to share with the class
May 4 - K – Kindness day – do something kind for a friend
May 5 - L – Lollipop Day
May 6 - M – Mismatched and M&M day – wear mismatched clothes and enjoy M&Ms
Here are some reminders from the principal:
Parents may only take their own child(ren) out of the cafeteria to eat lunch. Friends may NOT join them. This is a written policy that was sent home again when we updated safety procedures last month. Teachers AND lunch monitors must enforce this rule for everyone. Also, parents must sit at the visitor tables in the hallway, not at the student tables.
