Lady Panther Softball
4/18 - JV beat Birdville High School
4/18 -Varsity beat the undefeated, defending state champion Birdville High School softball team!!
The varsity softball team would like to personally invite you to come out and support them in their first round of playoffs. The Lady Panthers will play a best of 3 series against South Hills High School. We kick off the series AT HOME this Thursday at 7 p.m.

CHHS Tennis
Varsity held it's District tourney on April 5th and 6th with great results. Varsity qualified 8 players for the Regional Tournament: Also, CHHS finished first in both girl's and boy's team points for the first time.
Our Lubbock Qualifiers were:
Brooke Covington and Matt Pelfrey - 1st place Mixed doubles
Kyle Dennis - 2nd place Boy's singles
Gretchen Pfeiffer - 2nd place Girl's singles
Michael Nie and Peter Warton - 2nd place Boy's doubles
Jean Nie and Cate Cushing - 2nd place Girl's doubles
JV Tennis also captured the District title in team points in both boys and girls.
District champs were:
Arsh Durrani in boy's singles
Helen Ye in girl's singles
Ashley McKillop and Sarah Stevenson in Girl's doubles
Caden Howard and Alex Bieryla in boy's doubles
On Tuesday Morning, April 18th, Gretchen Pfeiffer became the first CHHS female to qualify for the State tournament since 1997. She won the Region I final in thrilling 3 set fashion. AWESOME!!!

PANTHER WATER POLO
Both boys and girls Varsity Water Polo teams played Keller last Thursday at Sr Night. Panther Girls lost a hard fought game. Boys were able to overcome a 4-2 deficit and win 8-4 behind Ben Adams at goal and Zac Shelley with 5 goals.
Seniors honored were Amber Charles, John Eric Rios, and Jim Moynahan.
The North Region Championship Tournament was held this past weekend, April 21-22 at Southlake Carroll High School. Top twelve teams competing for an opportunity to go to State. Panther boys entered the tournament playing well, but came up one win short of making state. The Boys knocked out Jesuit, Lake highlands, and Marcus before falling to Southlake and taking 5th place. Panther girls were able to knock out Ryan before falling to Braswell in their last game taking 9th place. Great season!
