The Best Of Me Nicholas Sparks

Book Review

In the spring of 1984, high school students Amanda Collier and Dawson Cole fell deeply in love. Though they were on opposite sides of the spectrum. Her life and his were on opposite sides of the track although their love seemed to defy the realities of life in the small town of Oriental, North Carolina. Their senior year began changing also not only that but it changed their relationship and they both faced unforeseen events that would tear them both apart, this in which would separate the young couple and send them both on divergent paths.

Dawson Cole and Amanda Collier are now back together twenty-five years later for a funeral. The man they both loved dearly, Tuck. He changed both of their lives tremendously and gave them both something unforgettable. Now that they are reunited and back together but they have a curiosity to why he brought both of them back there to the place were their love first began. There was always a reason for everything but sometimes Tuck never told the reason why you just had to find out for yourself. Both forced to confront painful memories even though the two former lovers soon realize that everything they thought they knew -- about themselves and the dreams they held dear was not as it seemed. In the course of the whole weekend spent together, they're left with the question can love truly rewrite the past? I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance novels. This would be more for teenagers or adults but no matter the age it will definitely catch your attention. There is suspense and so many things to take you into another world. This is a book you won't put down.
