Thank you!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! What a beautiful one it was!

I cannot thank you all enough for the cards, flowers, sweet treats, gift cards and special attention. I definitely felt the love and very much appreciated! I am so blessed by each one of you and your children and stepping back into the classroom has rewarded me in ways I didn't think were possible. I am so thankful this was the group of kiddos I was able to experience it all with.

HUGE shout out to Mrs. Cole-Essig (Jack's mom), Mr. Tax (Mary's day) and Mrs. Samuels (Hunter's mom) for chaperoning the kiddos during lunch, so I could eat in the peace and quiet ;) with other teachers, the lunch provided by our AMAZING PTO. What a special treat and you all are brave souls!! ;) Thank you!!!

Another shout out to our PTO who provided breakfast (two mornings), Poppy Popcorn, and all of the Claxton parents who provided sweet treats and lunch for all the staff. The parent community is one of my favorite parts about the Claxton family. As a teacher, I feel so appreciated and supported by you all - there really are no words.

Thank you all for all you do on a daily basis! You all are very much appreciated.

Gardening with Ms. Cozza

Ms. Cozza has worked with our class to incorporate area and perimeter by creating two quilt gardens in the Claxton Art Garden below the NC mural on Merrimon. We created one pinwheel quilt garden and one roman quilt garden. Even though it was a tad chilly, the kids had a wonderful time and exhibited wonderful team work. I was very proud of them!! Thank you so much to Mrs. Samuels (Hunter's mom), Mrs. Johnson (Tiller's mom), Mr. Hooten (Joe's dad) and Mrs. Mahan (Thayer's mom) for helping us with this special project! Your help was very much appreciated. :)
