Schedule of Events

9:00-9:15 - Parent Volunteers arrive for setup.

9:30 - Parents arrive and proceed to backfield behind school.

9:35-11:15 - Classrooms will begin Station Activities.

11:30-12:00 - Faculty vs. Grade 4 Kickball Game

12:10 - 1:00 - Lunch - Parents invited to enjoy picnic lunch outside.

1:00-3:25 - School Day Resumes

Parent Volunteers

Parent Volunteers are needed to run and supervise Station Games and Activities. Any parent who would like to volunteer will need to have a current BCI on file at the school. Parent volunteers must commit to the entire time; so all students are able to participate in the activities. Please note that due to the number of activities and potential volunteers, we may have to limit the number of parent volunteers and accept all forms on a first come, first serve basis. Thank you for your understanding.

If you would like to volunteer to work a station, please fill out the being sent home with your child. Thank you!

Parent Parking, Viewing Areas, and Lunch

Parking will be available in the front schoolyard, where the buses drop off students. No vehicles will be permitted behind the school. Upon arrival, please proceed directly to the backfield and set up your chairs and blankets around the perimeter of the field and stations, leaving room for students and staff to move around freely.

If you are staying for lunch, please fill out the form being sent home and return it to school by Friday. Students will not be permitted to eat outside unless their parent accompanies them. All students will be brought back into the school by their teachers to get their lunch. Students will then be dismissed to parents for lunch. They will remain on the field for recess until 1:00 PM. All students will be lined up by classroom after recess and return to class with their teachers. Students will not be dismissed from the field after recess.

Tips for Parents

If you plan on attending Field Day, please bring blankets and chairs to make yourself comfortable during the event. Parents will be able to sit around the perimeter of the field while the children move from station to station. If you would like to stay for lunch, we will have tables set up outside or you may bring blankets and picnic outside with your child. If you are eating with your child outside, you will need to sign and return the form that was sent home.

Please dress your children appropriately and make sure that they have on sunblock and protective clothing. A water bottle is recommended as well. Students must wear sneakers. Flip Flops are not permitted.
