PTA Positions for 2014-2015:
Middle Creek Families,
We are so excited about our new garden! We want to keep it looking great, as well as our grounds.
Thank you to all who volunteered for our Garden & Grounds Day. We didn't quite have enough mulch to finish the job,
so we are having another delivery this week.
Please take a moment to check out our new Garden Club Sign-Up Genius.
We will continue to add days & tasks to our Garden Club schedule.
Please help us out for an hour!

Cary Towne Center Art Show:
Kaleidoscope Art Show at Cary Towne Center will feature artwork from Middle Creek Elementary April 1-13.
Kindergarten Orientation: Volunteers Needed
Do you remember how you were feeling when your first child was entering kindergarten? Well now is a chance to lend a hand to those moms that are preparing to be in those same shoes! The MCES Kindergarten team and school Administration will be holding its parent/child orientation on Thursday, April 24th from 1-2pm in the Media Ctr. The team needs 10-20 volunteers to help them in the gym, to welcome the children and assist in organized fun and games, while their parents can focus on the informational meeting in the Media Ctr. Please consider helping us out to make this a special day to remember for these parents and kids, and giving them all a warm welcome from the MCES family! See the SignUp Genius link below to sign up to volunteer or email: email@example.com. THANK YOU!!!
Note from Art Teacher:
Thanks so much! Ms. Howell
Rising 6th Graders:
The counselor for Holly Ridge Middle will be coming on April 8 at 12:00 to talk with the students about middle school. Track 4 students will be tracked out during this visit, and this will be the only visit. Tracked out students are welcome to come, but the visit is for STUDENTS ONLY. You may drop your children off, and Mrs. Fillard will supervise any track 4 students from 12-12:45.
* This is for Holly Ridge transfers only. West Lake Middle session TBA.
Please see Mrs. Fillard's teacher site for great information:
The final Box Tops contest will end Thursday May 15, 2014. The top class from each track will win a popsicle treat.
* Please trim the box tops for submission by cutting along the dotted line. Also expired Box Tops can not be submitted.
Labels for Education:
With our points from the Labels for Education, PTA President Dawn Matta delivered supplies and outdoor/indoor recess items to each teacher. Items included playground balls, sidewalk chalk and games.
Soda Can Tops:
The PTA is no longer collecting these for the Ronald McDonald House.
MCES supporters have done a fantastic job submitting receipts for points. I am confident by the end of July will be achieve 200k in points or $450. Please continue submitting your receipts and check those receipts to see if you can scan barcode items for extra points.
Thanks for all of your support for these Consumer Products. ?'s contact Sharon Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org
Parent information and volunteer letters should be coming home soon. We encourage parents to volunteer early, but please be reminded that parents must be on the Wake County volunteer list.
